Terra Bella Box, $32.95 per month (free shipping for US addresses; see website for international shipping rates)
I can't believe how fast these little ones are growing! This cutie, a six-week-old Holland Lop, almost fills the Terra Bella Box!
Terra Bella Box is a monthly natural, cruelty-free beauty box that features products made by small businesses. Subscribers receive three to four skincare, hair care, and/or bath products per month. Terra Bella has started a second box, The Makeup Edit, so if you prefer makeup products to skincare, that might be the box for you. Subscribers are able to switch back and forth between The Makeup Edit and Terra Bella subscriptions if they want. The Makeup Edit is $29.95 per month, so it's a little cheaper than Terra Bella.
Terra Bella Box sent me this box free of charge for review.
Here's what was in the June Terra Bella Box:
- The Sugar Shak Collection Luxurious Bath Bomb in Banana Cream, Mega Size (worth $4.29)
- The Preserve Company Hand and Body Scrub in Georgia-Florida State Line (full size, worth $20)
- Indigo Wild Zum Wash in Sea Salt (full size, worth $13.50)
- Modish Polish Nail Polish in Control Freak (full size, worth $12)
The June Terra Bella was worth $49.79. I'm happy with the value. This month, we got two bath products, a nail polish, and a hand soap, so it's a good mix of products. It's something a little different, which I like.
I can never get enough bath bombs, so I was happy to see one in this month's box! This bath bomb contains shea and cocoa butters, aloe vera, sweet almond oil, vitamin E, coconut oil, sea salt, epsom salt, and witch hazel. It's fabulous for your skin. It's very moisturizing and made my skin feel extra soft. It also contains banana extract, which gives it a soft banana scent, but it isn't overbearing. I was a little worried because banana isn't my favorite scent, but I ended up loving this bath bomb. I want to try other The Sugar Shak Collection products!
The second bath product this month was The Preserve Company's Hand and Body Scrub in Georgia-Florida State Line. This is a sugar scrub that also contains epsom salt, mango butter, coconut and olive oils, peach and mango fragrance oils, orange zest and essential oils. I've never liked peach, so I wasn't sure what I was going to think of this. I ended up really liking the scent. I can smell the peach, but it goes well with the orange. This was a very exfoliating scrub that was also moisturizing. I love a good hand scrub, so I've been using this for both my body in the shower and on my hands as needed. This was my favorite product in this month's box.
Hand soap is always something I need, but I rarely see it in boxes. I love Indigo Wild, so getting one of their products in a box is always a treat. I had never tried their Zum Wash Natural Liquid Soap for Hands and Body before. I got the Sea Salt scent, which is actually supposed to be citrus-y. It smelled nothing like sea salt to me, so I'm not quite sure how they settled on that name. The scent was a little on the hippie-ish side. It wasn't my favorite scent and it stayed on my hands for an hour or so after I used it. It cleaned my hands without drying them out. I haven't tried this as a body wash, just as a hand soap, as I didn't want my whole body to smell like this soap. I liked the product, but I would have preferred a different scent. I would love to try the grapefruit and lemongrass scents.
The final product was the Modish Polish Nail Polish in Control Freak. Terra Bella doesn't have nail polish often, so it's nice to get something different this month. Control Freak is a deep red that is very pretty. I wasn't familiar with Modish Polish, but I liked the formula. It went on smoothly, was mostly opaque in one coat (though I recommend two coats), and it dries pretty quickly. It held up on my nails for a couple of days with no major chips, which is really good for me as I can be hard on my nails.
I'm loving the June Terra Bella Box! All four products were amazing. My favorite product was The Preserve Company's Hand and Body Scrub, but I also loved the Modish Polish and The Sugar Shak Collection bath bomb. I liked the Indigo Wild soap, but I would have preferred a different scent. Overall, though, it was another fabulous box!
