The Zoe Report Box of Style, Spring 2017

The Zoe Report Box of Style, $99.99 per quarter (free shipping to US; add $15 per shipping to the UK, Canada, and Australia)

This baby bun is just too cute!  He was a little disappointed in the lack of bunny treats, but he still agreed to model.

The Zoe Report Box of Style is a quarterly box curated by Rachel Zoe.  All subscribers receive the same products with perhaps some color and/or scent variation.  The products are a mix of accessories, jewelry, beauty products, and home goods.  The value of the box is $400+ and the products are always full size.

Here's what we got this quarter:

The Spring 2017 box was worth $481!  I'm definitely happy with the value!  We got three accessories, two beauty products, and two home products.  One of the products was a sponsored extra.

The Tribe Alive Custom Carryall was made especially for Box of Style!  Tribe Alive pays impoverished female artisans fair wages to make clothing and accessories.  Their artisans are located in Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, India, and Texas.  I got a Tribe Alive foldover clutch in my February PopSugar box and a pouch in my August 2016 Goodbeing, so I'm quite familiar with the company.  This carryall has a woven body and leather trim.  It is beautifully made and quite roomy.  There is a zip pocket and two open pockets on the inside.  I love this bag and can't wait to use it!  I want to Scotchgard it before using it because I don't want to ruin it.

Subscribers were allowed to choose either the gold or silver Adornmonde Ivo Gold Open Circle Ear Jackets.  I chose the gold.  As you can see in the picture above, the earrings are made up of two pieces -- a bar with studs on it and a hoop.  The bar goes on the front side of your ear, the hoop goes on the back, and then you put the backing on to hold them together.  If you don't like the hoop, you can just wear the bar.  This isn't something I would have bought on my own, but I'm liking these earrings.  They are beautiful and well-made.

Symbology made this square scarf exclusively for Box of Style.  The print looks white above, but it's actually gold and very pretty.  Rachel Zoe recommends wearing this around your neck, tying it around your purse strap, or tying it on your wrist.  I don't normally wear square scarves, so this was a little different for me, but I really liked it.  It looked great on me!  I love the red and gold color combination.

I've heard a lot of great things about Tatcha Polished Gentle Rice Enzyme Powder, so I was excited to finally have the chance to try it!  This is a powder exfoliating cleanser that you mix with water.  It felt like silk on my face.  I couldn't believe how soft it was.  The exfoliation was extraordinarily gentle.  This says it is for dry skin, but it worked fine on my combination/bordering-on-oily skin.  This is supposed to minimize fine lines, ward off breakouts, and even out skin tone.  I think this is one of my favorite cleansers ever.  I wish it didn't cost $65!

The bkr water bottle in Naked is made of clear glass covered with dusty peach rubber.  The bottle feels quite luxe, but the plastic cap feels a little cheap.  I wish they had made a nicer cap for it.  While the glass bottle seems sturdy and it has a rubber cover on it, I still worry I will break it eventually as I am quite clumsy.  I'm not really a fan of the color, but I like the bottle, so I'll use it.

The butter LONDON Patent Shine 10x Nail Lacquer in Piece of Cake is a gorgeous light pink color.  The nail polish went on smoothly and dried quickly.  I've tried other butter LONDON formulas in the past and wasn't all that impressed, but I really liked this polish.  It's been a couple of years since I've tried butter LONDON nail polish, so they may have changed their formula.  This is such a pretty color!

Box of Style always seems to have a sponsored extra.  This quarter's extra was the Stella Artois Buy a Lady a Drink Chalice.  Buy a Lady a Drink is Stella Artois' charity that gives women in developing countries clean water.  Each year, they choose three countries to focus their efforts on and they have an artist from each of those countries design a chalice.  Stella Artois donates $6.25 from the purchase of each chalice to the charity, which is enough for one person to have clean water for five years.  This year's countries are Cambodia, Uganda, and Brazil, and Box of Style subscribers received one of the three.  I got Cambodia.  I was hoping to get Brazil as I used to spend a lot of time in Brazil and I speak Brazilian Portuguese, but maybe I will just have to buy that myself.  When I first heard about this extra, I thought it was a little tacky, but I like the charity and the artwork on the glass is beautiful even with the Stella Artois logo on it.  The one annoying thing about this sponsored extra is that subscribers who are under 21 did not get this in their box.  I wouldn't be happy if I were under 21 and paid the same amount as everyone else but got one fewer item.  I know it's an extra, but I still would be upset.  That said, it's a great charity and a beautiful glass, so I'm happy to have it.  I'm not a beer drinker, but I will find a use for it.

I'm loving my Spring 2017 Box of Style!  Every product in the box was amazing.  My least favorite product was the bkr water bottle, but I still liked it.  It's hard to choose a favorite.  If I had to choose, I would probably say the Tribe Alive carryall, but I loved the Tatcha Polished, the Symbology scarf, the butter LONDON nail polish, the Adornmonde earrings, and the Stella Artois chalice.  Rachel Zoe hit it out of the park this quarter!

Did anyone else get this quarter's Box of Style?  If so, what did you think?
