Could this little one get any cuter?  It's a 3-week-old Holland Lop hanging out in the BB Bag.  I love its teeny ears!!!!

Beauteque BB Bag is a monthly Korean beauty subscription.  Korea is known for having some of the best and most innovative skincare around, so this is always a treat to get in the mail.  Occasionally, they have products from another Asian country, but the bulk of the products are Korean.  Subscribers get six to eight products a month, most of which are skincare products.  They generally have one beauty tool of some sort and a makeup item or nail polish.  Beauteque sends out the same items to subscribers for the most part, although there is usually one item that varies (e.g., some subscribers get one type of moisturizer, some get another type).  Subscribers also receive a different makeup bag each month.  Values of the BB Bags tend to be upwards of $60.

My August Beauteque BB Bag contained the following:

My August BB Bag was worth $69.85.  I wasn't able to find the bottom three items for sale online, so I used the values Beauteque listed on the product information card.  Subscribers received different lip products (it's listed on the card as "Mystery Lip Product"), but all the other items were the same.  This month's theme was Medal Worthy Beauty.  The bag itself wasn't one of the cuter bags I've gotten from Beauteque, but it's not ugly or anything.  I just wish it had gone along with the Olympics theme a little better.

The first product was the Hanaka Innerskin 3-Step Hydration Mask.  I like getting multi-step mask treatments because it makes me feel like I'm getting the full spa treatment.  You're supposed to use this after washing your face.  You then apply Step 1, the Hydra Soothing Essence, to your face.  After you've done that, you put the Step 2 Power Spot Eye Patches under your eyes.  Once those are on, you put the Step 3 Hydrating Mask on your face.  After 20 minutes or so, you remove the mask and the eye patches and pat your face until the remaining essence has been absorbed.  Steps 1 and 3 will hydrate your face, while Step 2 will brighten the skin under your eyes.  I was very happy with how my skin looked after I finished with this.  I looked like I was glowing.  At $7.99, it's a little on the expensive side for a one-time-use treatment, but it's worth it.

Swatch of Urban Dollkiss EasyLooks Soft Lipstick in 08 Rose Pink

Subscribers received a variety of lip products, so you may not have gotten the same product in your BB Bag.  I got the Urban Dollkiss EasyLooks Soft Lipstick in 08 Rose.  I've gotten this lipstick before in a BB Bag in a different color,  02 Peach Orange.  The box it comes in makes it look like cheap lipstick, but it actually has good pigment and somewhat okay staying power.  It'll stay on for a while, but you'll want to keep this in your purse for touch-ups.  This is a pretty color that was quite flattering on me.  I don't see this making it into my regular lipstick rotation, but it'll get used occasionally.

The Ladykin Elmaju Cactus Aqua Cream is made up of 75% prickly pear extract.  It's a thin white facial cream that absorbed quickly and didn't feel heavy on my skin.  This is supposed to keep your skin hydrated, but not oily, so it's great for the hot days of August.  It smells just like a prickly pear, but the scent disappeared once the cream was absorbed.  It might be hard to tell from the pictures, but this is a big jar, so it should last you a long time.  While this isn't my favorite moisturizer ever, it's a good one, and, at $19.98 for a little over 4 ounces, it's quite affordable.

When I reviewed the August Goodbeing box, I was saying that I didn't get many toners in my boxes, but I've gotten two already this month!  This is a good size bottle of toner.  I'm glad that Beauteque isn't afraid to throw in huge products.  You see a lot of the same brands over and over in Beauteque BB Bags, but I've never seen Deoproce before.  The Green Tea Essence Moisture Toner is lightly scented and smells good, but it doesn't quite smell like green tea to me.  I can't place the scent.  While many toners are drying, this is hydrating.  It's supposed to kill off acne and brighten skin.  I've only used it a couple of times, but I like the results I've gotten so far.

The next product is the Tsaio Pore Clear Treatment Set.  The small bottle is a pimple tonic which you're supposed to apply after you've washed your face.  The tube is the Containing Papain Remove Mask.  You're supposed to apply a thick layer of this black gel to your T-zone (or wherever you might have excess oil).  You let it set for twenty minutes or so, then peel it off, and it's supposed to remove sebaceous filaments and blackheads from your pores.  While I won't deny it removes blackheads and sebaceous filaments, it also removes a lot more!  It felt like my skin was being ripped off.  Normally, I love peel off masks (Hey Honey Take It Off! is one of my favorite masks ever), but this took off a lot of skin and was very painful to remove.  I recommend steering clear of this mask.  On the up side, I liked the tonic that came in the set.

The final product was a generic pink headband that you can wear when washing your face or using masks.  It's cheap and nothing to look at, but it does its job.  I kept meaning to buy a headband to wear when I have a mask on because I hate when my hair gets stuck in the liquid, so I like that they threw this in the box.  Beauteque always has a generic beauty tool, some of which are better than others, but I'm pretty happy with this one.  It kept all of my hair out of my face so my hair wouldn't get liquid mask stuff on it.

This month was pretty good for Beauteque.  I loved the Deoproce toner, the Innerskin mask, and the Ladykin cactus cream.  The headband, Tsaio pimple tonic, and Urban Dollkiss lipstick were good, but not great.  The Containing Papain Remove Mask in the Tsaio Pore Clear Treatment Set was absolutely not for me.  I hated removing that mask because it was so painful.  What did you think of the August BB Bag?  Has anyone else tried the Tsaio mask?  If so, was it painful when you removed it?  What was your mystery lip product?  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
