Here's the 6-week-old runt of one of the Holland Lop litters hanging out in my May Glossybox.  He's so cute and sweet.  I love this little one's personality.  He's definitely a sassy little bun!

Glossybox is a monthly subscription that sends subscribers five deluxe and full size beauty products.  While it's double the price of Birchbox and ipsy, the sample sizes are often quite a bit bigger and the value is usually higher.  The products tend to be from higher end brands.  Glossybox often includes European brands in the box that aren't readily available in the US, which is one of the things I really like about this subscription.  Also, the boxes are some of the nicest you will find in the subscription box world.  I always save them for storage or to put presents in for friends because they are both sturdy and pretty.

My May Glossybox contained the following products:

My May Glossybox was worth $58.32.  This box had one of the lowest values I've seen since I started subscribing to Glossybox.  Boxes are usually worth at least $65.  Every box is allowed the occasional low value month, though, so it's not a big deal.

Talika is a French brand that I hadn't heard of before now.  Photo-Hydra Day is a moisturizer that you use in the morning.  It is supposedly activated by daylight to fight signs or aging and to provide your skin with moisture and vitamins.  This moisturizer smells sooo good.  It has a very fresh, clean scent.  My skin felt hydrated and soft after I used this.  I haven't used it long enough to see if it helps with signs of aging, but anything that gives your skin added moisture, antioxidants,  and vitamins should be helpful in that area.

Glossybox has sent me a number of Rituals products and I've always liked them.  In February 2015, Glossybox sent out a full size version of this foaming shower gel in the scent Yogi Flow, so I was surprised to get the same product in a sample size of a different scent.  Fortunately, I liked this product, so I didn't mind getting it in a new scent.  I got the white lotus and yi yi ren fragrance.  I was jealous that my mom had gotten this shower foam in cherry blossom, but I ended up loving the white lotus and yi yi ren.  This comes out of the can as a gel and turns into a soft, silky foam.  The scent is quite strong, so if scents bother you, this product line is not for you.  While I probably wouldn't go out and buy this, I enjoy getting this product in my Glossybox.

I haven't actually used the VersaSpa Face Moisturizing Gradual Tanner yet.  I plan to use it, but I don't quite want to look tanner quite yet.  I'll have to get a slightly darker foundation and I haven't had the time to go to the mall lately, so I'm putting off using this tanner.  This is a special tanner because it doesn't just tan your skin.  It's supposed to be used daily for a gradual tan, to moisturize your skin, and to minimize the appearance of fine lines.  The website claims that it is good for all skin tones and that it doesn't have that horrible self-tanner smell.  While I am extremely pale and could use a self-tanner, I know many people with darker complexions don't really want a tanner, so I hope that Glossybox looked at the profiles of subscribers when deciding who to send this to.

I wasn't sure if I should even try the Nioxin shampoo and conditioner as it is for normal to thin hair.  Why does every beauty box seem to think everyone needs more volume and more hair?  I don't need anything to stimulate hair growth or to make my hair look even more voluminous.  I gave it a try, though, so I could tell you how it worked.  The shampoo and conditioner both smell minty, which I liked.  Unfortunately, that was all I liked about this hair system.  These were not the right products for my hair.  My hair looked so dry and unruly the next day.  I had to use a hair mask during my next shower because these products had messed up my hair so much.  Has anyone with thin hair tried out Nioxin products?  How did they work for you?

I've gotten Benefit's Roller Lash a few times in beauty boxes.  This is one of my favorite mascaras, so I always love getting a new one.  The fibers in this mascara contract a small amount when they dry, which pulls up on your lashes.  It makes it look like you used an eyelash curler.  This formula and brush made my eyes look bigger and more open.  It'll stay on all day without flaking or running.  I highly recommend this mascara.

I loved the Roller Lash, Talika moisturizer, and Rituals shower gel!  I don't know yet about the VersaSpa tanner and I definitely do not like the Nioxin shampoo and conditioner.  I liked Glossybox this month more than I have liked it the past few months, but it's not my favorite Glossybox ever.  I wish that there were one more makeup item instead of the shampoo and conditioner set.  Overall, though, I was happy with the box.  I hope that Glossybox keeps getting better.  I was a huge Glossybox fan girl, but the past few months have been subpar, so I'm waiting for them to knock it out of the park again.  I know they can do it because they've done it so many times before!
