Terra Bella Bridesmaid Box (1-4 boxes, $35 each; 5-9 boxes, $33.50 each; 10+ boxes, $30 each)
The link above isn't showing the Bridesmaid Box as being available! They might be sold out. I'll try to find out if they will be getting any more in. I hope so because, with wedding season coming up, this is an amazing idea.
Terra Bella currently has a promotion going on, though, for 50% off a past box with the code MOM50 and 50% off the first box of a subscription with the code MOMLOVE. I'm not sure how long this promotion will last, so act quickly! These boxes would make perfect Mother's Day presents!
The card above is in the Bridesmaid Box so you can thank your friend for being your bridesmaid. It's a cute little card. I love the colors. They're very similar to the Pantone colors of the year.
Here's one of the beautiful baby buns, a 3-week-old black Mini Satin, checking out the box!
Terra Bella Box is a monthly subscription box that contains a mix of natural bath, beauty, and body products from small businesses. The curation is always just about perfect and it has helped me discover some fabulous companies I might not have come across on my own. I absolutely love that this box supports small companies. The Bridesmaid Box is separate from the monthly subscription, but it still has the same types of products inside.
Terra Bella Box sent me the Bridesmaid Box free of charge for review.
Here's what comes in the Terra Bella Bridesmaid Box:
- Frisky Fish Essential Oil Roller in FLY (full size, worth $14)
- Ariya Apothecary Anti-Aging Lavender Face Serum (1/2 oz. full size, worth $25)
- Blue Blossom Bath Bomb in Strawberry Champagne (one bath bomb, worth $5.99)
- Live Beautifully Southern Peach Rose Lip Balm (full size, worth $5)
- URBNBODY Rosewater Cleanser (full size, worth $22)
The Terra Bella Bridesmaid Box is worth $71.99, which is a great value. You can get a beautifully curated box of products for a little more than half off what you would pay for the items retail. Your bridesmaids will think you spent a lot more on them than you did! They never have to know how much you really paid.
I reviewed the Frisky Fish Essentials EXHALE Eucalyptus Lavender Essential Oil rollerball earlier this month in the April Terra Bella box. That was nice and everything, but the Frisky Fish Essentials FLY Pink Grapefruit Ylang Ylang rollerball is much more my style. My lovely girlfriend, Emily, absolutely loved EXHALE, so I let her have that one, but FLY is all mine. FLY has a citrus scent with some spicy floral notes thrown in. The ylang ylang keeps the grapefruit from smelling too sweet. The scents balance each other perfectly. According to the Frisky Fish website, FLY is supposed to help with intuition and imagination. The fragrance is soft and very wearable as a perfume. It has good staying power and smelled as good at the end of the day as it did the beginning.
Given that yesterday was my 34th birthday, I am all about finding good anti-aging products! It's rare to find an effective natural anti-aging serum, so I was excited to try this. Ariya Apothecary's Anti-Aging Lavender Face Serum contains a mix of frankincense and rosehip oil for regeneration and collagen production, geranium for brightening and reducing fine lines, hyaluronic acid for moisture, and lavender to relax you and soothe your skin. This formula is slightly viscous. While it might seem a little expensive, the bottle should last you for some time because it takes just a teeny bit to cover your face. I haven't used this long enough to notice anti-aging effects, of course, but it does seem like it has helped heal blemishes on my face faster. That's very important when your birthday is coming up, so I loved that aspect of this product. The lavender scent isn't too strong, which was a plus for me.
The Blue Blossom Bath Bomb in Strawberry Champagne smells so good! It smells exactly like strawberries and champagne. I'm so sad I haven't had a chance to use it yet. Besides making your bathwater smell delicious, the salts, coconut oil, sunflower oil, and kaolin clay are great for your skin. I can't wait until I have a good bathtub again so that I can try all the bath products I get in my boxes.
I hate peaches, so I wasn't so sure I was going to like the Live Beautifully Southern Peach Rose Natural Lip Balm. Fortunately, the rose in it has somehow balanced the peach out so I wouldn't have known this was peach if it didn't say it was on the lid. Whatever it is that I hate about the peach scent normally is not there. While I prefer lip balm in stick form, this little pot was easy enough to use. The balm isn't so hard that it takes forever to get enough on your finger, but it isn't so soft that way too much will come out and make a mess. I've tried Live Beautifully's lip products before and have always liked them and this was no exception. That's what I love about beauty boxes -- I never in a million years would have considered buying Southern Peach Rose lip balm, but, because this came in the Terra Bella Bridesmaid Box, I tried it out and actually liked it.
Finally, there was the URBNBODY Rosewater Cleanser. To use this, you put a little of the liquid on a cotton pad, rub it all over your face, and then rinse with warm water. This contains no soap or alcohol, so it's very gentle and non-drying. The only ingredients are rosewater, vegetable glycerin, and tea tree essential oil, all of which are organic. The tea tree scent definitely overpowers the rose. Tea tree is a great for acne, so, while I don't like the smell of it all that much, I do like that it is in there. I would recommend removing your makeup before you use this. You should do that with any facial cleanser, but this one is extra gentle and won't be taking off a full face of makeup for you. It'll get the little bit of makeup that might be left behind after you've removed your makeup, but that's about it. I am a big fan of this facial cleanser and would definitely recommend it.
I think Terra Bella put together the perfect box for bridesmaids. Usually, Terra Bella includes some makeup in their monthly boxes, but I'm glad they decided against doing that for the Bridesmaid Box. The fact that the box was all about bath products and skincare makes it so that just about anyone would like this. Your bridesmaids might all like very different things, but, most likely, they'll all enjoy the Terra Bella Bridesmaid Box. I had a bridesman at my wedding and I think he would have liked this box. It's on the feminine side, for sure, but these are products that even men and butch women can use. I hope that Terra Bella gets more of these boxes in so that any of you who are planning a wedding can get a few of these to thank your best friends for all their help.
