Here's beautiful Miss Picotee with one of her adorable babies in the PopSugar box!

PopSugar Must Have had a sale on past boxes on Gilt City recently.  They were $25 each and you could choose from the November, December, or January boxes.  I liked a few of the things in the December box, so I decided to buy it.  Since I have it, I might as well review it!  I recommend checking out Gilt City and Rue La La because they sometimes have sales on subscriptions and they sometimes have subscription boxes from past months on sale.

PopSugar Must Have is a monthly lifestyle box that has a mix of home, makeup, food, and fashion items.  I get their boxes occasionally, but I am not a regular subscriber.  Their boxes can be hit or miss for me and, at $40 a box, I'd rather wait and see than have a monthly subscription.  The boxes are always worth $100+.

Here's what I got:

The December PopSugar box was worth about $173.99.  I used the prices listed on the product information card for the values of the items because most of the items were made exclusively for PopSugar.  There was a $20 promo card to Tiny Prints, but it is now expired, so I did not include that in the value.

I couldn't decide what I thought of the Luv Aj bracelet when I first saw it online, so I decided not to subscribe when I originally saw it back in December.  When I saw the box was available for $25, I figured I would go for it.  The bracelet was made especially for PopSugar and is made up of links plated with silver, gold, and rose gold.  It's a little chunkier and heavier than I would normally go for, but it's cute enough.  I've modeled it above so you can get an idea of how big the links are.  I wish the rose gold links were in the middle instead of the silver links, as I absolutely love rose gold.  It's not something I would have paid $65 for, but I'll be wearing this on occasion.

I've heard lots of good things about Stowaway Cosmetics, so I'm glad I finally was able to try some of their products.  In case you haven't heard about this new company, they make makeup in small sizes (think bigger than sample, smaller than normal full size products) so that you can actually use the whole product up.  Lots of makeup products dry out or just get old before you are even close to using the entire thing, so I thought this was a great idea.  As you can see in the swatches below, this lipstick has great pigment.  I loved the Cranberry color, and thought the other two colors were okay.  They lasted most of the day on me, but I did have to touch it up after eating.  I would be interested in trying more of Stowaway's products.

I wanted the Swing Design Nova Collection box because it looked like it would be cute to hold jewelry or other little things.  I wish I could use it to hold makeup, but the white inside is keeping me from doing that.  It would get ruined pretty quickly.  I can't decide if I want to keep this or give it as a gift.  It's made from imitation leather and has a microfiber inside.

I love wine, so having another wine stopper is never a bad thing.  This Nima Oberoi Lunares Geo Stopper has a cork base and a heavy, solid metal top.  It was designed for PopSugar and is supposed to not tarnish or break.  The design is a little boring, in my opinion, but it'll get some use.

My Cup of Cake is a little cake mix packet that can be made in a mug.  You mix it up, microwave it for a few minutes, then it's ready to go.  I haven't tried this yet, but I'm looking forward to it.  Cake is my favorite dessert, so I'm hoping it will be good.  I do wish it included a frosting packet.  This mix is made by disabled adults at The Arc of Madison Cortland, which is very close to where I live.

The Meri Meri Silver Stars on White Glitter Tape is so pretty!  I'm looking forward to finding the perfect present to use it on.  I love sparkles, so this is perfect for me.  It's one of those things that I would see in a store and love, but would never actually buy for myself.  I love when subscription boxes send me stuff like that.

There was also a little extra thrown in.  They sent out cute little gift tags from Tiny Prints plus a $20 promo card to use at Tiny Prints.  Unfortunately, the promo card is expired, but I'll use the gift tags.  I like that they can be used for any occasion.

While I wouldn't have subscribed to PopSugar Must Have just to get this box, I like that I was able to buy it at a discount.  I will keep some of the items and give others as gifts, so it was definitely worth the $25.  The Stowaway Cosmetics lipstick was a good find, and I liked the jewelry box and bracelet quite a bit.  Did you take advantage of the past PopSugar box sale on Gilt City?  What did you think?

I'll start my reviews of the May boxes in the next day or two!
