This box was sent to me free of charge for review.
Here's beautiful Caramel, the 3.5 month old Mini Satin, looking all demure in the March Terra Bella Box. She loved that there was a product that contained carrots (although disappointed it wasn't a bunny treat!) and liked the bunny picture on the bubble bath bottle. She insisted she was much cuter than the bunny on the bottle.
Sir Fluffington was also interested in checking out the carrots and the bunny! He's such a cutie!
Here's what came in my Terra Bella Box this month:
- Lunasea Botanicals Carrot Tomato Alpha Hydroxy Face Cleanser (full size, worth $14)
- Cricket Cove Soap Co. Cuticle Butter in Pink Grapefruit (full size, worth $7)
- Bella & Beau Botanicals Bubble Bath in Fresh Spearmint Lime (full size, worth $8)
- Moody Sisters Natural Skincare Berry Tinted Lip Balm (full size, worth $6)
- Dermadeli Pumpkin Seed Serum (full size, worth $28.99)
The March Terra Bella Box was worth $63.99. I've definitely been seeing the value of this box go up each month, so that is great. Terra Bella always introduces me to new companies and new products. I love discovering small natural beauty businesses and this is a wonderful way to do it!
First up is the Lunasea Botanicals Carrot Tomato Alpha Hydroxy Face Cleanser. This was the spoiler that was on the card in last month's Terra Bella Box. A bit of an aside, but I can I just say how much I love the spoiler card in the box each month? It's so much fun finding out what one of the items will be in the next month's box. It creates excitement among subscribers. I wish more beauty boxes would include them!
Okay, back to the review. I was definitely intrigued by this cleanser when I saw the spoiler for this last month. I had high hopes for it, but I was a little worried about the scent. I absolutely love tomatoes (one of my favorite foods ever!), but I would not want a cleanser to smell like them. Fortunately, this cleanser does not smell like tomatoes at all. It has a citrus-y/carrot-y/herbal scent which is actually very nice. This is a fabulous, non-drying cleanser, rich in vitamin C. It'll brighten and exfoliate your skin and deep clean your pores. I found it to be very gentle and it easily got off the last little bit of makeup I had on my face. This is a great cleanser and I highly recommend it. I do have one little complaint about it, though. The bottle it comes in has a cap with a big hole in it. I wish the hole were a little smaller. It is very easy to squeeze out way too much. Even when I was being careful, a lot more than I needed came out.
The Cricket Cove Soap Co. Grapefruit Cuticle Butter contains shea butter, plant oils, beeswax, grapefruit essential oil, and vitamin E. The oils hydrate your cuticles and the wax prevents loss of moisture. You're supposed to massage it into your nails and cuticles before bed. My cuticles and nails are always in bad shape. I've used this treatment a couple of times and have already seen improvements. My cuticles aren't quite perfect yet, but they're looking better than they have in a long time. I only wish that I had gotten this in January when the dry cold was really wreaking havoc on my hands!
My baby buns were very excited to learn about Bella and Beau Botanicals. This company was started by two bunnies, Bella and Beau, because they were shocked to learn that many beauty products were tested on rabbits. They test their products only on humans. Bella and Beau are Holland Lops, like most of our bunnies, so our little guys were even more impressed when they saw that. The Fresh Spearmint Lime Bubble Bath makes mounds of thick, luxurious bubbles. I loved the spearmint part of the scent, but lime has never been my favorite. Emily thought it smelled absolutely amazing. The bottle is on the small side, but you don't need to use all that much to get a tub full of bubbles. You should be able to get at least a few uses out of it. I would love to try this bubble bath in one of the other scents available.
The Moody Sisters Berry Tinted Lip Balm is a vanilla-scented, beeswax-based, very lightly tinted lip balm. See the swatch of the color below. It contains almond oil, shea butter, coconut oil, vitamin E, and cocoa butter with a berry tint. This has a nice, non-greasy finish to it. I'm picky about lip balms, but I loved this. I wish it had a little more color to it because it doesn't really show up on my lips. I get lip balms for the moisture, not the color, though, so that wasn't a big deal to me.
Finally, there was the Dermadeli Pumpkin Seed Serum. I've tried and loved Dermadeli products before, but I never knew that the Pumpkin Seed Serum was their first product. I was expecting this to have a pumpkin-y scent, but it smells like roasted pumpkin seeds coming right out of the oven. This also contains pomegranate seed oil, vitamin E, lutein, lycopene, and other ingredients that are good for your skin. The serum is meant to provide your skin with deep hydration and can be used on any body part that needs it, not just your face. Much like the cuticle butter, I wish I had gotten this in January when my skin was beyond dry. I am happy to have this and I look forward to using it whenever my skin needs a serious moisture boost.
There was a spoiler card for the April box! The full size Terra Bella Boxes will contain URBNBODY Tea Tree Foot Salve. This product is worth $15. I can't wait to give this a try. Getting the skin on your foot back into good condition before you start wearing flipflops and open-toed shoes is important!
This was another amazing month for Terra Bella Box. I loved every product in the box. The contents will get your cuticles, lips, and face back in top condition for spring. This box always has fabulous curation and I look forward to seeing what is inside each month. Give this box a try if you are looking for natural, cruelty-free beauty and want to discover and support small businesses in the process.
