Terra Bella Box, $34.95 per month plus shipping for full size, $16.95 per month plus shipping for lite box; US only
Terra Bella Box is a natural, cruelty-free beauty box that contains products from small businesses. It's a great way to discover beauty companies you would probably never find on your own!
Terra Bella has changed their pricing structure. Instead of charging $37.95 for full size and $17.95 for lite, the boxes are now $34.95 for full and $16.95 for lite. They will be charging shipping now, though, so the box might end up costing a couple dollars more than it was before. They are charging each subscriber the actual shipping cost, so it might vary from subscriber to subscriber depending on where they live. Also, if you start a new subscription, use the code BBBEXTRA to get an extra item in your first box of your full size subscription!
Terra Bella Box sent me this box free of charge for review.
Let's see what was inside:
- Miss Violet Lace Breath Atomizer in Wild Strawberries (full size, worth $10)
- Country Market Crafts Chocolate Cupcake Bubble Bar and Bath Bomb (one cupcake, worth $4.40)
- Indigo Wild Zum Rub Moisturizer in Lavender (full size, worth $10)
- Whiskey, Ink, and Lace Cinnamon Lip Plumper (full size, worth $5)
- qc naturals lottie's body oil (full size, worth $20)
The February Terra Bella Box was worth $49.40. This box had a cute Valentine's Day theme! I couldn't wait to give everything a try. I loved the colors on the product cards.
The Miss Violet Lace Breath Atomizer was a perfect choice for a February box! It's a good size bottle of breath spray and is made of only water, strawberry extract, and stevia. It lightly freshens your breath with a sweet strawberry taste and scent. I was happy that the flavor was natural strawberry, not that gross fake strawberry candy flavor. The stevia adds a little sweetness, but it's not overbearing. It's great to throw in your purse for a hot date.
I haven't had a chance to try this Country Market Crafts bath bomb/bubble bar yet. Our apartment doesn't have the best bathtub setup and I want to save this for when we can have a romantic bath together. The "frosting" on top of this "cupcake" is a bubble bar. You hold it under the running water and it gives you tons of suds. The bottom "cake" part has a yummy chocolate scent and serves as a bath bomb. It has plenty of beneficial things for your skin in it, such as kaolin clay, Dead Sea salts, cocoa butter, and coconut oil. It's almost too cute to use! I'm looking forward to giving this a try. At only $4.40, it's surprisingly inexpensive. I took a look at Country Market Crafts and there are so many things on their site I want! Their products are so cute and there are so many scents that sound amazing! I'm going to have to get the Froot Loops Bubble Bomb Cupcake at some point! Really, I want to try just about everything on the site.
I love the Indigo Wild Zum products I've gotten before, so I was happy to see another one in this month's box. Lavender isn't my favorite scent, but Emily adores it. Emily thought this was perfect. It is extremely moisturizing, but it absorbs quickly and isn't greasy. Besides using it as a basic moisturizer, the package also recommends using it for frizzy hair, chapped lips, removing makeup, tattoo aftercare, poison ivy, scars, and sunburns. I haven't had a chance to use it for anything other than moisturizer, but it's good to know that I can use it for many other purposes. I'm impressed by this product and highly recommend it. I should note that while many Terra Bella products are vegan, this one contains beeswax and goat's milk, so it is not.
I am generally not all that interested in lip plumpers as my lips are full enough as it is. I love cinnamon, though, so I was happy to give this a try. The cinnamon scent and flavor were strong and my lips tingled immediately after applying this. I noticed a small amount of plumping. The instructions recommend using this only a couple of times a week at most. This adds a little shine to your lips and hydrates them. While this isn't a product I need, if you're looking for a natural lip plumper, this is the way to go.
Finally, there was qc naturals lottie's body oil. I am in love with qc naturals' timmy's toner, so I was ecstatic to get another one of their products! I like that this oil is in a bottle with a pump top because it is so easy to have way too much oil come out of a regular bottle. This oil can be used for multiple purposes -- bath oil, massage oil, basic moisturizer, and after-shower body spray. The ingredients for this are very simple, just a blend of organic oils, so it is safe even for babies. There is no noticeable odor to this, so it is perfect for those with sensitive noses. I massaged a little onto Emily to give this a try and I liked how quickly the oil rubbed in. Her skin was so silky and smooth. This is fabulous for a romantic Valentine's bath or massage.
I'm loving the February Terra Bella Box! The cinnamon lip plumper, bath bomb, body oil, and breath spray are fabulous choices for a box in February. The lavender moisturizer doesn't fit the Valentine's theme quite as well, but it's an amazing product. Even if you don't have a date for the holiday, you can pamper yourself with the contents of this box. You deserve it! Terra Bella really knocked it out of the park this month.
Terra Bella included a card with a spoiler for March in this box! If you don't want to see it, stop reading here. There is a cute baby bunny picture below, though.
As you can see, sweet little Nia the Holland Lop was looking through my Terra Bella Box. She said, "Mom, are you sure there are no carrots hidden in here? I saw something about carrots on one of the cards!" She was right -- the was something about carrots on one of the cards, but there were no carrots in the box for her.
The March Terra Bella Box will include LunaSea Botanicals Carrot Tomato Alpha Hydroxy Face Cleanser! I've never tried LunaSea Botanicals before, so I'm excited to give this a try. Sadly, little Nia won't be able to snack on this as she had hoped.
What did you think of this month's Terra Bella Box? Did you love it as much as I did? What was your favorite product? What do you think of the spoiler?
