Here's sweet little Emmett the bunny hanging out in the BB Bag.  Right before this picture, he had gotten in it completely, like it was a teeny house just for him.  Emmett is a 2.5-month-old Holland Lop.

Beauteque BB Bag is a subscription that contains a mix of beauty products from Korea and occasionally other Asian countries.  They are heavy on the skincare because that is what Korea is known for, but they usually have at least one makeup product and a beauty tool per month.  Each month, the products come inside a different makeup bag.  They have six to nine products each month, usually full size.

Beauteque sent me this bag free of charge for review.

This month's BB Bag theme was All About You:  All the Secrets to a Flawless Face and Hair.

Here's what I got in this month's Beauteque BB Bag:

I couldn't find all of the products for sale online; any I couldn't find online, I used the values listed on the product information card from Beauteque.  The price of the exfoliating brush seems high to me.  If I were to assign it a value, I would say maybe $10, not $25.  If all their values are correct, the February bag is worth $70.99, not including the value of the makeup bag.  The makeup bag this month was red on one side, black on the other, and had a satiny feel to it.  I thought it was one of the nicer bags I've gotten from Beauteque.  The red side is shown in most of the pictures, but the black side is shown in the picture with the lip balm.

First up, there are the Anskin Premium Revital Vitamin Modeling Mask and the Anskin Ultimate Solution Modeling Activator.  The information card included in the bag says that subscribers would get either Dual Firming, Moisturizing, or Anti-Wrinkle Modeling Mask.  Mine just says Purifying and Revitalizing, so I'm not sure if that is a fourth kind that wasn't listed on the card or what.  The bag of mask powder is huge and should last me a very long time.  The Modeling Activator is new to me.  I've always used water to mix up my powder masks, but this activator is a liquid that you mix with your mask in place of water.  The liquid is clear, a little thicker than water, and is lightly scented.  It is enriched with collagen, hyaluronic acid, and many plant extracts, so it will make whichever powdered mask it is mixed into even better for your skin.  I tried the powdered mask out with this and was very impressed.  The mask had a great, smooth consistency with this liquid and it was easy to apply.  After it dried, the whole mask peeled off in just a few pieces.  I loved peeling it off.  A lot of powdered masks that say they will peel off haven't peeled off all that well for me, so I was surprised by how well this one stayed together.  I have not tried this powdered mask with plain water, so I am not sure if the thicker liquid made it easier to peel.  My skin felt really smooth after I used this mask.  When I looked at the mask that peeled off, I could see a layer of skin on the inside of it.  I usually prefer the masks that you don't have to mix (sheet masks or the ones that come as a liquid/gel) because they aren't as messy, but I really like this mask.  I have enough of the liquid left to use a few more times, but I'll use water with it once that runs out.  I wish I could find this liquid for sale because I really liked it.

Subscribers got the Skinfood Lip Balm in either Rose Essence or Avocado.  I'm not an avocado fan, so I was happy I got the rose.  When I first saw this, I thought it was the type of lip balm that was hard and that I would have to rub it a bit to warm it up so I could use it.  I was surprised when I touched it and realized it had a jelly-like consistency.  That made it easier to apply.  It says it will give your lips a slight tint, but I didn't notice any extra color.  The rose scent was a lot stronger than I was expecting.  It wasn't overbearing, but the fragrance was a heavier than I would have liked.  It felt moisturizing, but not overly oily.  If you like roses, you'll love this.  If you don't, this is not for you.

The Lador Sleeping Clinic Ampoule is a treatment that you apply to your damp hair at night, then you let it dry, and go to bed.  You can also use a small amount on dry hair during the day for keeping your hair in line, but using a good amount on your hair before bed will give you better results.  It contains keratin and is supposed to strengthen your hair and give it a protective coating.  I loved how shiny and soft my hair was in the morning.  I kept touching it all day because it was so soft.  If you have dry, damaged hair, you might want to check this out.  It's inexpensive, but very effective.

The Scinic Honey Banana Cleansing Foam comes in a huge tube for a facial cleanser!  The banana scent is pretty strong on this.  This is supposed to be moisturizing and smoothing and it contains honey and banana extracts. It lathered up well and the lather was silky feeling.  I haven't noticed any hydrating effects from this yet, but I've used this for only a few days.  Honey is great for your skin, so I'm sure I'll see some good results if I keep using this.

Including this exfoliating brush with a facial cleanser was a great choice.  You're supposed to rub your cleanser on your face, then wet the brush and scrub your face with it.  This gives your pores a deep cleaning.  I expected an exfoliating brush to be scratchy and harsh, but this was extremely soft.  The bristles are very thin, flexible, and densely packed.  It felt like it was really getting the cleanser into my skin.  I'm kind of lazy and usually just use my hands, but I liked using the brush and will try to use it at least once a week or so.

I loved Beauteque's BB Bag this month.  I'm a huge fan of everything except the rose lip balm.  I liked the rose lip balm, but it wasn't my favorite thing.  It was mostly skincare, which I liked.  All the products were new to me, it had a good value, and the products went well together.  The BB Bag is one of my favorite subscriptions because these are all products that I am never likely to encounter on my own and I am unlikely to find them in other beauty boxes.  Korea has some of the best skincare out there, so I enjoy seeing what's new and how well the products work.  The only bad part about this subscription is that if I love something, finding a replacement can be almost impossible!  Some items are for sale online, but others, like the Anskin Ultimate Solution Modeling Activator, don't seem to be.  If you're looking for a good introduction to Korean skincare, I suggest you start with this subscription.

What did you think of the BB Bag this month?  Did you have a favorite product?  Did you like the mask and activator liquid as much as I did?  I'd love to hear all about your beauty boxes in the comments!
