The Zoe Report Box of Style, $99.99 per quarter (free shipping to US; $15 shipping for Canada, Australia, and the U.K.)
I love this one's coloring so much! He's adorable. He wanted to model for this box because he says he is the most stylish of the baby bunnies.
This is my first The Zoe Report Box of Style! Box of Style is a quarterly box curated by Rachel Zoe. All subscribers receive the same products with perhaps some color and/or scent variation. The products are a mix of accessories, jewelry, beauty products, and home goods. The value of the box is $400+. The products are always full size.
The link at the top of my page is my referral link. If you use it, you will get $10 off your first box! The winter box was still available last I checked.
Here's what I got in my first Box of Style:
- Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Eau de Parfum Spray (small sample, worth $7.40; full size costs $74)
- Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer in Berry Pop (full size, worth $18.50)
- Soia and Kyo Olivia Cable Knit Hat (worth $50)
- D.L. & Co. TZR Birch Scented Candle (worth $50)
- Dagne Dover Leather Card Case (check name on this) (worth $50)
- Sunday Riley Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream (full size, worth $65)
- Dylanlex Zoey Necklace (worth $200)
The Winter 2016 Box of Style was worth an incredible $440.90. We got three beauty products, a piece of jewelry, two accessories, and a home product, so I'm very happy with the mix. One of the products, the Juice Couture perfume, was a sponsored extra, so that wasn't full size as Juice Couture paid for it to be included in the box.
The Juice Couture Viva La Juicy Eau de Parfum was a sponsored extra, so it was just a bonus in the box. This perfume is described as a warm floral with notes of wild berries, jasmine, mandarin, praline, honeysuckle, and vanilla. This perfume smelled very sweet and was a little cloying, so it wasn't for me at all.
Clinique has never been one of my favorite brands, but I'm always willing to try out their products as sometimes I end up liking them. The Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer was fabulous. It has amazing pigment, the color was gorgeous on me, and it held up throughout the day with very few touch-ups required. This has a deep berry color and a satin finish. It felt moisturizing on my lips and I didn't have problems with it feathering. I don't like Clinique's Chubby Stick lip color at all, so I didn't have high expectations for this product, but I ended up loving it!
I've never been a hat wearer, so I wasn't sure that I was going to like this hat. Subscribers could choose from black, vanilla, or burgundy, and I went with the burgundy. The color is very pretty and the hat is very well-made and warm. I was surprised by how deep the color ended up being (it is darker than it looks in the photo above). I still am not sure if I like how I look in it, just because I don't like how I look in hats in general, but this will be nice for the cold winter.
I love D.L. & Co. candles, so I was happy to see one in this box! D.L. & Co. made this candle exclusively for The Zoe Report. The scent is called birch, but it has more of a piney scent. I don't really know what birch smells like, but I don't think it smells like pine. I've never been someone who has loved pine scents, but this isn't bad. It fills the room with the scent, but it's not overly strong. The candle is white and it's in a big, heavy, black glass jar that is quite elegant looking. I wish it didn't say "TZR by D.L. & Co." on the side of it, but it's still pretty. I'll probably save the container after the candle is gone.
The Dagne Dover Leather Card Case is beautiful! The deep navy color matches the new bag my girlfriend bought me for Christmas perfectly. It's big enough to hold a few cards and perhaps some cash, so it's great when you're out on the town and don't want to have to carry a big bag with you. It's made of high quality leather and is very durable.
I've heard lots of great things about Sunday Riley, but I've never tried one of their products. The Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream is a light green, cucumber-scented moisturizer that also exfoliates, smooths, and brightens skin. It absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn't leave you feeling greasy at all. I can use all the hydration I can get in the cold, dry winter, so I was happy to see this in the box. It made my skin feel hydrated and soft.
The final product was the hero item, the Dylanlex Zoey Custom Necklace, which was made exclusively for this box. This necklace can be worn loose as a bib necklace, or you can tighten it up to wear it as a choker. It's made of beautiful, sparkly Swarovski crystal. You can wear this with a fancy dress, or you can use it to dress up a casual outfit a bit. It has quite a bit of weight to it, but it's not so heavy that it is annoying to wear. I got tons of compliments on it. Be careful what kind of fabric you wear this with, though, because if it's fluffy or fuzzy at all, the stones will get caught in the fabric. I absolutely love this necklace. This is definitely a big, bold, statement necklace, so it won't be for everyone, but it's perfect for me.
I'm very happy with my first Box of Style! The Juicy Couture perfume wasn't for me and I'm still on the fence about the hat, but I absolutely love everything else in the box. It's hard to choose a favorite product, but I think the Dylanlex necklace, the Dagne Dover card case, and the Clinique lipstick were my favorites in the box. I'm so happy I finally decided to try this box out.
Does anyone else get Box of Style? If so, what did you think?
