The baby bun just wanted to sit in the bag and not move.  She's a silly little thing.

ipsy is one of the most popular beauty subscriptions.  Each month, subscribers receive five sample size (and occasionally full size) products plus a makeup bag.  Subscribers fill out profiles and ipsy customizes the products based on those profiles.  I find that ipsy usually has more makeup than skincare and they have a mix of higher end and drugstore brands.  ipsy's sample sizes are usually bigger than those of Birchbox and ipsy's value is usually higher, too.  If you're looking for an introductory beauty subscription, ipsy is a good option.  If anyone is interested, I have one more offer from ipsy that I can send to someone so they can get their first month free when they start a new subscription.  Send me a note in the Contact section with your first and last name and e-mail address and I'll send it to the first person I hear from.

Here's what came in my November ipsy Glam Bag:

My November ipsy was worth $62.46, much better than my $18 Glam Bag last month!  I got two makeup products, two skincare products, and a brush.  The Glam Bag design this month was kind of cute -- little makeup constellations.  This month, ipsy made the bag in silver and gold.  I'm glad I got the gold.  Not only are the constellations gold, but the inside liner of the bag is also gold.

If you get ipsy, make sure you review your products -- ipsy has made the review process much easier!  It takes just a few seconds per product because they have only a couple of questions instead of the lengthy questionnaire they used to have.  I hated reviewing ipsy products before because it took forever, so I'm happy to report that it takes much less time now.

Swatch of Absolute New York Matte Stick in NFA52 Dark Red

I wasn't familiar with Absolute New York, so I was looking forward to trying their lipstick.  The color, Dark Red, was very flattering, but the formula was a little drier than I would like, making it a little hard to work with.  The staying power was just okay -- I had to do a few touch-ups throughout the day.  This isn't my favorite lipstick ever, but, for $5.99, it's not bad.

Brushes are never fun to get in boxes.  They're boring but practical, like socks for Christmas.  I'd never heard of SLMissGlam before.  I actually did need a new eye brush, though, so the timing was perfect.  The brush is of really good quality.  It picked up a lot of eyeshadow and didn't leave a lot of fallout behind.  It was easy to work with -- the bristles were soft, but firm enough that I could get the makeup exactly where I needed.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara is some of my favorite mascara ever.  I've gotten it in so many boxes at this point, but this is one of the only samples I can see over and over again without getting annoyed.  This mascara gives me ton of length and volume and, most importantly, doesn't make my lashes clumpy.  It's easy to work with and always gives me a flawless look.  If you've never tried this mascara, I can't recommend it highly enough.

I used tarte's Maracujá Oil several years ago, but I had almost forgotten about it until I got it in my ipsy this month.  I love this oil.  Maracujá means passionfruit in Portuguese.  This is supposed to be moisturizing, firming, and brightening.  It's a lightweight oil that give you lots of hydration without leaving you feeling greasy.  I'm not a big fan of most face oils, but I love the Maracujá Oil.

The final product was Skin & Co. Roma's Truffle Therapy Eye Concentrate.  I love their Truffle Therapy Serum, but I had never tried the Eye Concentrate.  It has the same scent as the serum.  The scent is hard to describe, but I really like it.  This is an anti-aging eye treatment.  I've been using it every day, but I'd need to use it for a longer period of time to see real anti-aging benefits.

I'm much happier with my ipsy bag this month than I was last month!  I loved the Skin & Co. Roma Truffle Therapy Eye Concentrate, the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, the tarte cosmetics Maracujá Oil, and the SLMissGlam brush, and I liked the Absolute New York lipstick.  The lipstick was good for $6, but it's not my favorite.  I loved four of the five products and liked the fifth, so I have no complaints about my November ipsy.  My ipsy bags have been pretty good this year.

What did you get in your November ipsy?  Did you love the products you got?
