Emmett loves PopSugar boxes because they are some of the only boxes he can fit in!  I love his little face in the picture above.  Could he be any cuter?!

PopSugar Must Have is a monthly subscription box that is more of a lifestyle box than a beauty box.  It always contains a beauty product or two, but the boxes also include home goods, snacks, jewelry, accessories, and occasionally even books.  All subscribers receive the same products with perhaps some scent or color variation.  At $40 a month, it's on the expensive side, but the values are always $100+.  Normally, I don't subscribe, but I sometimes buy past boxes that have been put on sale or their limited edition boxes.  PopSugar had a sale on Black Friday, though, so I got myself a three month subscription.

This is what came in the December PopSugar Must Have box:

My December PopSugar box was worth $137.98!  That's over three times the normal price of the box and almost seven times what I paid for it, so I'm happy with the value.  This month, we got two home products, two beauty products, one piece of jewelry, one accessory, and one snack, so the product mix is great.

The Odeme Catchall and Ring Dish are a little plain for my taste, but they're just what I needed to help organize my makeup and jewelry.  I have more beauty products than I know what to do with, so little dishes to help me organize them are always welcome.  Something more colorful would have been nice, but I'm still happy to have these.  They are porcelain and feel quite sturdy.  If you don't have tons of makeup and jewelry that need to be organized, these can be used throughout the house for whatever you may need.

Next up is the BaubleBar Snowfall Pendant, which was made exclusively for PopSugar.  The picture on the left is the front and the picture on the right is the back.  I almost like the back of it more, but it would look like I had a waffle necklace on if I wore it that way.  The design itself is a little strange and not my style.  I'll wear it occasionally, but that's about it.

These Mane Message hair pins are so cute!  I don't normally wear hair pins, but I will make an exception for these.  I wish there were more than three of them, though.  They all go together, but they don't perfectly match, which I like.  These are made of metal and feel quite strong, so they should be able to handle even thicker hair like mine.  I had some trouble getting them into my hair and haven't quite figured out how I will style them yet as I never wear hair pins, but I'm working on that.  I'll figure it out.

Next we have the Winky Lux Matte Lip Velour in Bunny.  Emmett approved of this lipstick!  Isn't the packaging cute?   I wish I could make it stand up, but the bullet design is adorable, so I'm willing to overlook that.  The pigment in this is amazing and it held up all day without feathering on me.  I think I touched it up after lunch, but that was it.  The cranberry color is beautiful.  This is my first time trying a Winky Lux product, I believe, but I'm now a fan!

The Dessange Top Coat Serum is meant for color-treated hair, but anyone can use it.  It adds shine to your hair and protects it from the sun.  My hair doesn't need too much sun protection this time of year in upstate NY, but I can always use some extra shine.  I gave this a try and was impressed with the results.  My hair was noticeably shinier after using it just once.  I don't dye my hair, but I imagine this would make a huge difference for someone whose hair was damaged due to coloring.

Last but not least is the Sisters' Gourmet Baker's Dozen Classic Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix.  I haven't had a chance to make these yet, but I'm sure I will before Christmas.  This makes thirteen chocolate chip cookies and all you need to add to the mix are butter, eggs, and vanilla.  I love homemade chocolate chip cookies, so I'm excited for these.  Has anyone else tried this?  Is it as good as it looks?

That's it for the December PopSugar Must Have box!  It wasn't my favorite PopSugar box ever, but it wasn't bad.  The necklace wasn't really my style, but I'm happy with everything else.  It's hard to choose a favorite product!  I love the hair pins, the dishes, and the lipstick and quite like the hair treatment, too.  I'm quite sure I will like the cookies, but I haven't had a chance to try them yet.

What did you think of the December PopSugar box?
