PopSugar Must Have 2016 Limited Edition Winter Women's Box Review

PopSugar Must Have Limited Edition Winter Women's Box, $100 (no longer available)

Emmett loves PopSugar because he can actually fit in their boxes!  It's one of his few chances to be one of my models.

PopSugar Must Have is a monthly lifestyle box.  It contains some beauty products, but it also has a mix of home goods, snacks, books, jewelry, and accessories.  Each season, PopSugar releases a limited edition box that is separate from their subscription.  My mom was extra nice and got me the women's winter limited edition box for Christmas.  While most seasons have just one limited edition box, PopSugar also does a men's limited edition box for winter.  Both the men's and women's boxes are sold out already.

Here's what was inside the box:

The PopSugar Must Have 2016 Limited Edition Winter Women's Box was worth $359.50!  I'm extremely happy with the value.  There were two home products, two beauty products, an accessory, and a snack, which is a pretty typical mix for a PopSugar box.

First up is the Pehr Designs Charcoal Muskoka Throw.  As you might remember, there was a Pehr table runner in the November PopSugar box and there was a Pehr bin in the January PopSugar box, so PopSugar subscribers are already quite familiar with this company.  This throw is 50" x 60" and made of flannel.  This blanket is so incredibly soft and warm.  It was heavier than I expected.  Would I pay $136 for this blanket?  Probably not -- that's a lot of money for a blanket!  But I love it and I'm so happy to have it.  We have dogs and a cat, so I'm afraid to use this in the living room because I know the animals will crawl on it and get it dirty and hairy, so I've been keeping it on my bed as an extra blanket.

Next up is The Cambridge Satchel Company's Tiny Satchel in Black and Clay, which is a cross-body bag..  This color was made exclusively for PopSugar.  The front is pictured above on the left and the back side of it is on the right.  It came in a cute little bag, which you can also see above.  This is made of high quality leather.  The leather is a little stiff still, but it will soften a bit with age.  When they say tiny, they mean tiny!  My iPhone 6S just barely fits into it.  My phone is in an Otterbox Defender, so that adds a little length to it.  You kind of have to work to get the phone in there.  If your phone is any longer, it probably won't fit.   This won't fit a regular wallet in it, but you could fit your phone, your keys, some money, your license, your credit cards, and perhaps even a lipstick in here.  This is a great bag for a night on the town, but not for everyday use.  It's really cute and I am happy to have it.

I love diffusers, so I was happy to see the Simpatico No. 85 Snow Hobnail Diffuser in the box.  The box contained a decorative glass jar, some sticks, and a jar of the diffuser oil.  The Snow scent is a mix of peppermint and vanilla.  I'm usually not a vanilla lover, but it goes beautifully with the peppermint.  I wish the scent was a little stronger, but I still love this.  You could keep the decorative jar and use it as a vase when the diffuser oil has lost its scent.

The Cargo Cosmetics Around the World Palette contains twelve neutral eyeshadows, six of which are matte, six of which are shimmer.  I've gotten a lot of Cargo products over the years, but I've had good luck with their products, so I don't mind getting more.  Cargo designed the palette so that the top eyeshadow was meant to go with the eyeshadow directly below it and they also arrange it so that there are three groups of quads that are all supposed to go together to make a look.  These colors are a little boring for my taste.  I like something a little bolder.  The eyeshadow has good pigment and held up on me all day with a primer.  If you like these colors, I would recommend this palette.

The R+Co TINSEL Smoothing Oil is called that because it adds serious shine to your hair.  I loved how shiny my hair was after I used this!  It's also supposed to eliminate frizz, but I never get frizz, so I can't speak to how well it works for that.  This has a soft scent to it that R+Co calls Dark Waves, which they describe as a "warm romantic scent" that has notes of cardamom, pineapple, tangerine, lavender, bamboo, and blonde woods.  $24 is a little expensive for this tiny bottle, but I'll enjoy using it while it lasts!

Finally, we have the Louis Sherry 6-piece Tin of chocolates in Camellia Pink.  The six chocolate flavors were Strawberry Romanoff, Mexican Vanilla, Pomegranate Crème, Coffee Costa d'Oro, Fleur de Sel Caramel, and Raspberry Crème.  I tried all the chocolates except the raspberry and coffee, which Emily tried for me as I don't like those flavors.  I think my favorite, surprisingly, was the Strawberry Romanoff.  I like strawberries, but I don't love them, so I was surprised by how much I liked the flavor.  All of the chocolates were incredible, though.

I'm loving the PopSugar Must Have Limited Edition Winter Women's Box!  It had a fun mix of products that were perfect for the season.  It's hard to choose a favorite, but I think the Pehr blanket was what I loved the most, followed closely by the satchel and the diffuser.  The box was a luxurious treat and I'm so happy my mom got it for me for Christmas!

Did anyone else get this box or the men's box?  If so, what did you think?  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
