The 3B Box, $12 month (US only)
The 3B Box contains a mix of five Korean beauty products each month. At $12 a month, it's a great deal. This is only the second time I've gotten it (the first time being one month in the summer).
Here's what was in my December 3B Box:
- It's Skin Prestige Crême D'Escargot BB (small sample, worth $5; full size costs $25)
- Secret Key Lemon D-Toc Peeling Gel (full size, worth $15)
- Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner (small sample, worth ~$1.17; full size costs $11.70)
- Boutique Bebe Hair Salon Vita Clinic Ampoule (full size, worth $1.84)
- Tony Moly I'm Real Sheet Mask in Rice/Clear Skin (one sheet mask, worth $7.50)
The December 3B Box was worth $30.51. That's a good value for a $12 bag.
This is a BB cream with snail mucus in it. Don't worry! Snails are not hurt in the collection of the mucus. Snail mucus helps with healing pimples and making wrinkles less noticeable. This BB cream also contains sunblock, so that is an added bonus. This had a tint to it that seemed a little dark for me, but it went on quite sheer, so it was fine. I don't know whether this has helped my skin out or not because I've only had the chance to use it for a few days, but I definitely like it and plan on using it up. After I'm finished using up the tube, then I'll decide if it is worth buying a full size cream.
I got this same product in my November Beauteque BB Bag. I loved it, but I still have quite a bit of my old bottle, so I'll probably give this to a friend. This is a great chemical peel with a lemony scent. It really sloughed off the dead skin and made my face feel new again. I definitely recommend this product.
The Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner (sic) is a toner that helps with multiple skin issues. It is meant to cleanse, balance pH, control oil and acne, moisturize, and tighten up pores. It seems to be your average toner and I haven't noticed anything special about it. It's perfectly fine, but it's not a wonder treatment.
I was excited to try out the Boutique Bebe Hair Ampoule! It's a deep treatment you can apply to wet or dry hair, let it set for twenty minutes or so, then rinse out. My hair looked extra shiny and felt really soft after using this. I'm usually not a hair product person, but I like treatments.
If you read my Beauteque BB Bag article this month, you saw that I also got this same rice mask in that subscription. I was a little disappointed to get the same Tony Moly mask in two boxes in the same month, but it's a nice mask, so I'll live. I liked the one I've already used quite a bit. My skin has continued to get clearer, so it seems to have had great results. I'll definitely be using this second one at some point.
I thought the 3B bag was okay, but it wasn't my favorite. I'll try it again next month and see if I like it more. I would have liked it more if two of the five products weren't products I had already gotten from another subscription, but that's not 3B's fault. All the products in this bag were good, but none were really amazing. Did anyone else get 3B this month? What did you think?
