Terra Bella is one of the newer subscriptions on the scene.  They include only natural, handmade products from small businesses in their monthly boxes.  This is their first holiday box, so I was excited to see what was inside!  The theme of this holiday box was Baby, It's Cold Outside.

What was in the first Terra Bella holiday box?

The Terra Bella Winter Limited Edition Box was worth $107.99.  There are still some available, but they are sure to go fast.  Act now if you are interested!  Also, if you are interested in the Terra Bella Lite box, which has two to three items per month instead of the regular five to six, they are having a sale for a three month subscription for $50.  No coupon code is needed.  Here's the link for the page that takes you to the $50 3-month Lite subscription and the Limited Edition Winter Box:  https://terrabellabox.cratejoy.com/shop/all/.  The Trial Box for just $24 is also on that page.  The Trial Box, Limited Edition Box, or 3-month Lite subscription would all make fabulous holiday gifts, in my opinion, so if you're still looking for something for a special lady in your life, check this out.

The Salacia Salts Upcycled Salt Soak was one of the spoilers for this box.  You get either Southern Pecan or Magnolia.  Before I got this box in the mail, I could not decide which scent I hoped to get!  I love pecans and magnolia, so I would have been happy with either.  I was glad I didn't have to decide myself and it was left up to chance!  I ended up getting Southern Pecan.  The ingredients for this salt soak are sea salt, ground pecans, and essential oils.  You can't get much simpler than that.  The salts have a soft, nutty smell that is nice and calming.  It's not very strong of a scent, which I was happy with.  Some bath salts are very heavily scented and it can be a bit much when you're trying to relax, in my opinion.  This made for a wonderful bath.  The salts are in a wine bottle, so you have enough for quite a few baths.  I love this stuff and might have to see about getting the magnolia, too!  You might have noticed the little packet to the side of the bottle in the picture above.  That contains a small cloth bag that you can put the salts in.  If you keep them in that and put the bag in your bath, it'll keep the bits of pecans from getting into your drain.

I never realized that salves of herb could be made to promote prophetic dreaming, but that is what the Three Leaf Farm Dreamtime Salve claims to do.  It contains a mix of plant oils, herbs, and essential oils.  It smells mostly of lavender.  The salve is a soft, oily cream that you apply to your wrists, temples, and forehead before bed.  I found it to be very calming and a nice scent to fall asleep to. As far as I know, I haven't had any prophetic dreams,  but I still enjoy using it.  If you've used this, have you noticed any effect on your dreams?

The October Terra Bella Box had the Three Sisters Apothecary Nurturing Bar Soap in a crisp fall apple scent.  I loved that soap, so I was happy to see that the bar soap was back, this time in Dark Chocolate Peppermint scent.  It smells so yummy!  It's very moisturizing, which I find is so uncommon for a bar soap.  I would love to try the other scents this soap comes in!

This cute little lollipop is actually a Feeling Smitten Lemon Meringue Bath Pop!  These bath pops are also available in Mango-a-Go-Go and Cotton Candy.  They have a center of coconut butter in them to help moisturize your skin.  I haven't had a chance to use this yet, but I hope to use it soon.  They're almost too cute to use!  Upon opening the plastic wrapper and smelling the pop, I noticed a very faint lemon scent to it.  I am hoping it will be just a little bit stronger when it finally makes it into my tub.  You have to look at all the adorable bath products on Feeling Smitten's site!  I want those adorable bath cupcakes!!!

I enjoyed the Indigo Wild Zum soap I received in my December Terra Bella Box, so I was excited to be able to give the Indigo Wild Almond Zum Body Lotion a try.  Almond is one of my favorite scents, so I was sure I would love this.  Emily and I are both still on the fence about what we think of this, though.  We love almond, but the almond scent was a little too strong in this.  It smells like straight up almond extract when you first use it.  The smell softens after your skin has fully absorbed the lotion, fortunately.  It's moisturizing and we definitely don't hate it, but I could see a lot of people being a little bothered by the strength of the scent.

The Rock Hound Dark Quartz Crystal Soap is just too pretty to use!  Has anyone ever actually used one of these as soap?  Probably not.  They are definitely more of a decorative piece.  The soap has a nice blood orange scent to it.  Rock Hound has tons of scents to choose from and allows you to pick your rock style and the scent you want for it, so that is a nice touch.  The owner of the Rock Hound Etsy shop also runs a second Etsy shop, Candlelit Desserts, which sells candles and soaps shaped like food.  The owner has a lot of talent.  I want one of just about everything!

The eyeshadow came in the cute little box pictured next to it above so it wouldn't get lost in all the packing material.  Earth Mineral Cosmetics makes this mineral eyeshadow.  It's a very pretty color, even though it doesn't have quite the pigment I was looking for.  It lasted through the day and did not crease on me, so the quality of it is great.

After getting the R Devine Skin Care cleanser and serum in the December Terra Bella, I was a fan of the company.  Now I'm an even bigger fan of R Devine after trying out this exfoliant and mask!  You can even use this as a scrub for your body, hands, and feet.  I've used it as an exfoliant on my face and loved the results.  It was very gentle, but did a great job.  It smells of lavender and hibiscus, which is a very nice combination.  The hibiscus in it contains Alpha Hydroxy Acid, which is great for exfoliating.  It is also made up of almond meal, oats, and kaolin clay, which help with exfoliating, soaking up excess oil, and brightening.  The R Devine website recommends using it as mask if you have sensitive skin.  The Alpha Hydroxy Acid in it will gently chemically exfoliate your skin, so you won't irritate your face as much as you would by mechanically exfoliating.  Emily tried it as a mask and says it is one of her favorites masks ever!

Last but not least, there was a Live Beautifully All Natural Lip Balm Anthology of Sparkling Wine Flavors.  The three flavors were Peach Bellini, Orange Mimosa, and Sweet Moscato.  You might remember that Live Beautifully Lip Balm Jelly in Blackberry Wine appeared in the December Terra Bella Box, and their Whipped Lip Butter in Pumpkin and Vanilla was in the October box.  I really love their lip products!  The Orange Mimosa was definitely my favorite.  I liked the Sweet Moscato quite a bit, too.  I, personally, don't really like peach, so Peach Bellini wasn't for me, but Emily quite liked it.  It was very moisturizing (check out the ingredients in the link to this product).  The scent is not too strong, not too weak, just perfect.  The flavor is very subtle.  At $12 for this 3-pack, you can't beat the price.  Live Beautifully is also having a holiday sale -- 20% off with the code LBMERRY.

I loved the Terra Bella Winter Limited Edition Box!  I thought it was a great value at $65 for $108 in products.  The curation was outstanding and the products were mostly hits.  I highly recommend buying this box!  It was still available last I checked.  It would make a fabulous holiday present for yourself or someone else!  It's perfect for pampering every part of your body.  I don't know about you, but I could use a little pampering after the stress of the holidays.
